What We Do

IRIWP is an Atlanta , Georgia and Bangkok, Thailand headquartered research and consulting company. IRIWP conducts wellness research, scientific advisory services and product consulting in the United States and abroad.

A current research priority in the USA and abroad is the identification and use of therapeutic agents targeting cannabinoid receptors and the endocannabinoid system to further understand the health effects of cannabis as a medicine for patients with a variety of conditions. We work with colleges, universities, research institutes, hospitals and medical providers, professional societies, independent scholars and commercial enterprises to advance this research.

To this end, IRIWP is issuing a call for abstracts and papers based in part on new and emerging research suggested by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine publication: The Health Effects of Cannabis and Cannabinoids: The Current State of Evidence and Recommendations for Research (2017) Washington, DC: The National Academies Press. Our goal is to convene scientific conferences in the USA and abroad to address these and other topics.

As a part of our Genomics International work in Bangkok, Thailand, IRIWP is also interested in partnering for the longitudinal study of human aging associated with epigenetic changes, resulting in alterations of gene expression and disturbances in broad genome architecture and the epigenetic landscape. The potential reversibility of these epigenetic changes offers exciting opportunities to alter the trajectory of age-related diseases.

Genomics International is our Thailand based genetics professional services company providing partnering, advisory, research, genetic testing and bioinformatics assistance to meet the needs of the growing life science, medical and consumer self-care industry in Southeast Asia and beyond.
